HDL Cholesterol Special Chemistry

Sample Type: Plasma (Heparin), Serum Sample Requirements:
150μl preferred

Sample Handling: 1 week 2-8°C or 3 months -70°C. Samples should only be frozen once.

Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Special Chemistry

Sample Type: EDTA Whole Blood Sample Requirements:
200μl preferred
100μl minimum Qualified Species: Monkey, Rat

Sample Handling: 2 weeks 2-8°C.

Histamine Immunoassay

Sample Type: Plasma (EDTA) Sample Requirements:
150μl preferred
125μl minimum Qualified Species: Dog, Monkey, Rabbit, Rat

Sample Handling: Chill immediately on ice. Samples are stable frozen -70 +/- 15°C for 4 weeks.

Homocysteine (HCY) Special Chemistry

Sample Type: Serum Sample Requirements:

100μl minimum Qualified Species: Dog, Monkey, Rat

Sample Handling: HCY samples should be kept on ice and centrifuged within an hour. HCY is stable for several months or years at -20°C.

IGF-1 Immunoassay

Sample Type: Plasma (Citrate, EDTA, Heparin), Serum Sample Requirements:

Sample Handling: Maximum 2 days at 18-25°C or up to 2 years at -20°C.

Sample Handling: 2-8°C if testing within 24 hours, or frozen until ready to assay.
