CBC with Differential Hematology

Sample Type: EDTA Whole Blood Sample Requirements:
500μl preferred

Sample Handling: Samples should be refrigerated if not to be analyzed within 8 hours.

CK Isoenzymes Immunoassay

Sample Type: Serum Sample Requirements:

Sample Handling: 48 hours 2-8°C, 2 weeks -20°C, and -70°C for longer. Repeated freezing and thawing destroys CK activity and should be avoided.

Complement C3 Special Chemistry

Sample Type: Serum Sample Requirements:
500μl preferred
200μl minimum Qualified Species: Monkey

Sample Handling: Refrigerate at 2-8°C or at -20°C for up to 8 days without any loss of activity. Samples should be refrigerated or frozen is the assay cannot be run within 4 hours. Avoid thawing and refreezing.

Complement C4 Special Chemistry

Sample Type: Serum Sample Requirements:
500μl preferred
200μl minimum Qualified Species: Monkey

Sample Handling: Refrigerate at 2-8°C if cannot be run at once, can be stored at -70°C for longer.

Corticosterone Immunoassay

Sample Type: Plasma, Serum Sample Requirements:
100μl preferred
50μl minimum Qualified Species: Rat

Sample Handling: Assay immediately or store at -20°C for 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Cortisol Special Chemistry

Sample Type: Serum Sample Requirements:
200μl preferred
110μl minimum Qualified Species: Dog, Monkey, Pig

Sample Handling: Store specimens for 7 days at 2-8°C or 3 months at -20°C.
